Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards renews partnership with Pearson VUE

BLOOMINGTON, MN, Jan. 12, 2015 – The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) has chosen to renew its partnership with computer-based testing leader Pearson VUE.

The agreement means that Pearson VUE will continue to deliver the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (L.A.R.E.) through its network of highly secure test centers across the United States and Canada.

Joel Albizo, FASAE, CAE, executive director of CLARB, said: "We selected Pearson VUE again because of their focus on service, their responsiveness, and the professionalism of their staff. Pearson VUE provides reliable systems, timely data, and a critical test center network designed for our high-stakes exams and our membership."

CLARB's members include the licensure boards in 48 states, three Canadian provinces and the territory of Puerto Rico that regulate the landscape architecture profession. Landscape architects seeking licensure serve in both public and private enterprise capacities, and their competency and adherence to standards support CLARB’s mission by fostering the public health, safety and welfare related to the use and protection of the natural and built environment.

Bob Whelan, managing director of Pearson VUE, said: "CLARB and its membership represent critical organizations that ensure stewardship of the natural and built environments, which benefits all members of the public. We’re proud to be CLARB’s computer-based testing partner, and look forward to serving CLARB in the coming years.”
